Job Description

  • Prepare and update employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating.
  • Provide information on employee benefits, programs, and education.
  • Develop, revise, and recommend personnel policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the completion and processing of new hire paperwork.
  • Inform job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.
  • Address employment-related issues as they arise.
  • Advise managers and supervisors about the steps in the progressive discipline system of the company.
  • Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
  • Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Protect the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations.

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
    • Proficiency in Paychex would be ideal
    • Understanding of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration
    • Ability to ensure Compliance in all HR activities
    • Strong skills in Employee Relations
    • Experience using Paychex Payroll and Paychex software
    • Knowledge of Workers Compensation and Workers Comp Law
    • Experience with Full Cycle Recruiting and Recruiting processes
    • Proficiency in Employee performance management and Performance Management strategies.
