n· Experience in workforce/employment domain: o Wagner-Peyser (WP), Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), grant management, Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS), programs, eligible training provider list (ETPL), reporting, program and participant outcomes, and customer service o Familiarity with Federal Labor Laws and Regulations and how they affect states laws, regulations, and policy o Familiarity with interpretation of federal directives and issuances such as TEGL, UIPL, and TEN series

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Enhancing the effectiveness of TCS’ Next Generation Workforce Solution strategies and decision-making processes
  • Lead workforce and employment business process discussions with the state workforce agency
  • Lead TCS workforce business analyst team and provide guidance and direction to support a superior business design, development, and delivery process
  • Coordinate with customer workforce development and employment business teams and TCS’s technical teams to support and expand the TCS team’s understanding of state specific workforce domain requirements, processes and needs to ensure solutions align with customer and operational objectives.
  • Gather, develop and document requirement specifications to ensure seamless development and deployments
  • Build knowledge of information systems and speak to the capabilities in the context of customers’ business.
  • Coordinate with the appropriate teams to build new functionality and set reasonable expectations with TCS and customer teams
  • Instruct and guide team members in product development requirements
  • Make demonstrations of TCS Next Generation Workforce solution to clients, prospects and within TCS
  • Prepare and deliver Excel spreadsheets, Word documents and PowerPoint presentations relative to projects assigned
  • Read and understand law, regulations and directives from states and USDOL
  • Lead discussion to assess impact of changes in statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Consult and collaborate with clients and other stakeholders regarding business operations, data and reporting requirements
  • Manage meetings, agenda, minutes, tracking and follow-ups
  • Conduct research and deliver presentations
  • Provide support activities for production applications such as analyzing defects, researching problems, and interacting with customers and development team
  • Communicate research findings, project status, design changes, and other st atus impacting projects through various means.
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of a testing plan, test case preparation and test case execution including regression and patch testing for applications and new system releases
