About the team
The Global Product & RD team is building up core TikTok products to ensure TikTok continues a healthy growth, deliver the best product experience to all of our users, build the most attractive features to help users enjoy their time on TikTok, earn trust in privacy protection, and more. The Global Product team is growing exponentially. The business lines are ranging from Monetization Technology, Data, Machine Learning, System, Infrastructure, AR Effects, Security Technology and more. As the HR partner to Data Trust and Safety, you will guide and support talent management, performance management, career development, employee relations, and change management activities. As we continue to rapidly grow, you will also assist in building innovative new programs to support our teams as they scale. Your work will have a real-world impact, and you'll be supported in achieving your career goals.
Responsibilities
- Partner with your assigned business group(s) and ensure a deep understanding of business strategy and implement high-quality HR practices within the team.
- Implement and manage cyclical HR programs end-to-end, including performance management, engagement survey, recognition, etc.
- Manage and facilitate function-specific HR projects, including team orientation, learning & development programs, etc.
- Manage employee disciplinary issues and provide advice to business leaders on ways to manage each case.
- Proactively assess employee, team, and organizational development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in CoE, HR operations, and other HR teams to implement solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, a related field or equivalent years of working experience.
-Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, and a total of 5 years of experience in Human Resources as either a Generalist or human capital consultant.
- Proven experience with project management, change management and driving programs independently.
- Experience with performance management, and employee relations.
-Experience partnering with international colleagues and managing stakeholders across multiple time zones and cultures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in global technology or Internet business in a high-growth environment preferred.
- Ability to bring an optimism and solution-oriented approach.
- Interpersonal communication skills and experience building relationships at all levels of the organization.
