This role engages with pursuit teams on the largest, most complex, multi-tower (including IT, Infrastructure and Business Processes) engagements in North America and Europe. This role will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing solution and price data within Cognizant, and then compare those data to market benchmarks looking for areas of opportunity.

This individual will also be responsible for establishing highly repeatable best practices, and working closely with Executive leadership to ensure oud benchmark data and deal win and loss data properly reflects the IT industry as a whole.

This role is entrepreneurial and requires creative thinkers and problem solvers.

Key Accountabilities Include

• Data analysis of solution, cost, & price data for IT services, SW, & HW
• Gather data from various sources internal and external to Cognizant
• Create an executive-level reporting package of findings and trends
• Make recommendations based on data analysis
• Collaborate with opportunity pursuit teams
• Mentor and grow the skills of other team members
• Improve the solution-to-cost capabilities, tools, & processes
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in gathering data from various sources and in various forms
• 7+ years’ experience with incomplete and “dirty” data sets
• Extensive experience with IT solution and price data
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional data analysis and creative problem solving skills
• Exceptional MS Excel skills
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial
• BS and/or MS in computer science or equivalent experience
