Job Description
Rihm Kenworth – South St. Paul is seeking an HR Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. The HR Manager will contribute to the planning and implementation of Human Resources strategies in order to ensure a productive and successful operation. This role requires a high level of initiative and problem solving to accomplish objectives. This is an on-site position based at our South St. Paul, MN location.

Responsibilities
- Provide proactive direction to ensure effective HR strategy and operations, including recruitment, policies review, compensation and benefits planning, and employee development
- Manage employee relations and labor relations to ensure a positive and productive workplace
- Administer and coordinate employee programs and services
- Advise and answer questions on a wide range of topics regarding HR, benefits, and policies
- Develop, implement, and provide reports on HR systems and processes
- Facilitate employee engagement initiatives
- Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding
- Ensure compliance with government and legal regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in HR leadership role
- Preferred experience in manufacturing or truck and automotive industry
- In-depth understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Proficient with MS Office and HRIS/Payroll systems
- Ability to develop and analyze reports
- Ability to travel up to 20% between locations
- Labor relations and contract negotiations experience
