Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Manage SEO strategies that align with Digital Media business goals and target audiences.
  • Monitor, analyze and optimize SEO targeted website and its activity, traffic trends, SERP rankings and customer acquisition/eCommerce metrics.
  • Produce content targeted for SEO which is highly local, relevant and aligning with the global SEO strategy.
  • Provide SEO support for all ongoing Web projects, including new product launches, page refresh/migration, site re-design, and CMS rollout. Work closely with the Web Production, Editorial (Third Party Vendors), IT and Web Product Management Departments to drive the implementation of SEO recommendations.
  • Work with SEM team to continuously monitor search behavior and make recommendations to improve search functionality and navigation.
  • Effectively monitor competitors by using various analytical tools to track competitors' SEO performance, keyword strategies, and content updates.
  • Continue to help define and refine SEO processes with the Web Management Team and IT.
  • Conduct keyword research using Google Search Console, Brightedge, Ahrefs & internal SEO tools
  • Stay informed about search engine algorithm changes and SEO industry trends. Regularly educate the rest of the company on emerging SEO technologies and opportunities.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Exceptional SEO experience in India with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
  • Expertise in on/off-page optimization strategies, tech SEO, mobile optimization, content creation & optimization, international/multilingual SEO, and multimedia SEO techniques.
  • 5+ years' experience in SEO, managing enterprise-level campaigns with proven results.
  • Deep understanding of India's diverse cultures, languages, and regional nuances.
  • Ability to tailor SEO approaches to connect with various Indian audiences.
  • A love of data and attention to detail - highly organized and analytical.
  • Strong experience with SEO tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, GSC, Brightedge) and proven track record to spot actionable insights/patterns in data.
  • Excellent communication skills, have the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences at all levels within the company
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to learn fast and adapt quickly to a constantly changing search industry.
  • Proven history of self-direction, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.
