Job Description

The candidate needs to demonstrate the ability to engage people, lead without formal authority, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work seamlessly with cross-functional partners. The role requires the aptitude to think strategically and exhibit extreme analytical rigor.

This position, reporting to the US LITFULO Marketing Lead will play a critical role on the team in supporting our launch efforts for this breakthrough treatment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific responsibilities of the US LITFULO Director, HCP Lead include, but are not limited to:

  • Strategic oversight of all HCP-focused activities and counterpart to the Global HCP team lead.
  • Coach and mentor HCP team members
  • Work with senior managers and directors on the team to prioritize and execute strategic and tactical plans.
  • Identify, develop, and lead execution of HCP strategies and tactics to execute successful launch and maximize growth trajectory for LITFULO.
  • Serve as launch lead for potential new indications
  • Promotional lead, driving decisions around message development and evolution, new creative campaign roll out and targeting strategy, including brand segmentation.
  • Develop promotional materials based on customer insights, close collaboration with medical, sales colleagues, Business and Analytics, as well as directly with HCPs through advisory boards and other engagement.
  • Develop strong cross-functional collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to enable efficient execution of brand strategy.
  • Develop presentations for leadership team and internal stakeholders on brand priorities, critical success factors, and comprehensive launch plans. Key contributor to Tactical Plans, Operating Plans and POA presentations.
  • Deliver against financial expectations for the brand.
  • Generate market and customer insights to shape critical strategic imperatives and gather cross-functional insight to inform short- and long-term strategy. 
  • Lead the development of the US branded HCP campaign (Now Approved & Full campaign)
  • Build the US HCP branded messaging platform and develop the FF iDetail
  • Partner with the US Training team to develop the Field Force Training plan to support launch readiness and execution
  • Oversee the relationship with HCP AOR, managing budget, SOWs, and performance review process

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience with 7+ years commercial/marketing experience
  • US Pharma experience
  • Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required. Advanced degree preferred
  • Comfort with ambiguity, and complex “white space” environments
  • Experience with a launch product preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross functional matrix teams: Influences without formal authority, understands role/ position in the wider context; builds and maintains strong relationships of trust
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with ability to obtain and evaluate data to identify insights and develop effective strategies & tactics based on these insights
  • Demonstrated track record of achievement and of influencing business outcomes across diverse functional boundaries, even without direct reporting relationships
  • Ability to demonstrate a One Pfizer approach and work effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environment with internal/external stakeholders
  • Ability to gain alignment: Effective listening and communication skills – gathers input from key stakeholders; communicates commercial strategies in clear updates for senior leadership
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to mobilize key stakeholders and engage leadership
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills and demonstrated flexibility.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
