Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing:
- This Inside Sales Manager position will oversee the team's strategic and sales objectives and create tactical solutions to meet or exceed goals.
- This position is in the office five days per week.
- Actively enhances team through recruiting, hiring, and creating personnel development plans.
- Identifies and nurtures high potential talent; plans succession for the team and strategically partners with the larger organization to build a talent pipeline for positions outside the immediate team.
- Monitors process, progress, and results. Sets the team's direction and priorities and is accountable for team performance.
- Served as the point person for the sales team for strategy opportunities, problem resolution, and escalated issues. Drives large deals for their team; negotiates aggressively in the deal process. Keeps excellence in customer service and company profitability in mind during decision-making processes.
- Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve complex problems with practical solutions.
- Develop a sales team to enter & manage opportunities accurately.
- Ensures information in the Opportunity Manager system is accurate and current.
- Reviews information consistently; actively manages opportunities.
- Measures performance against goals and evaluates results.
- Holds team accountable for the information in Opportunity Manager and provides course correction when necessary.
- Educate partners on registering opportunities and transact business with Arrow and vendors. Serve as the subject matter expert on Arrow and vendor tools and processes.
- This position will also require some time on-site at the customer's location in Andover, MA.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3-5 years of related experience including, but not limited to:
- Managing a team responsible for creating selling opportunities within specified strategic customer accounts (Military, Aerospace, and Defense)
- Experience with Aerospace and Defense customers strongly preferred
- Experience quoting complex drawings and parts quality is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with electronics distribution in complex major accounts is strongly preferred.
- Building influential internal and external relationships
- This position is required to be in the office five days a week.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
Work Arrangement:
- Denver, Chicago, Phoenix, Peabody, and Minnesota candidates must be fully in the Office Monday through Friday.
- Candidates in Iowa, Fully Remote: Must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership.
