SAP Concur, the world’s leading provider of travel, expense, and invoice management solutions, is seeking a teammate interested in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to join our highly effective, global search marketing team.

This person should demonstrate an eagerness to learn SEO strategies and implementing SEO tactics across multiple countries and cultures in complex, business-to-business environments.

Reporting to the Director of Search Marketing, this person will create detailed marketing analyses and reports with insights and action items to drive the priorities of development and marketing teams in corporate and around the world.  In addition to research and reporting, the SEO specialist will help identify new SEO opportunities to drive digital demand for SAP Concur globally. 

This person must have an exceptional ability to sell ideas and approaches to land SEO solutions and have the analytical, technical, and marketing skills to support this influence strategy.  They must be a self-starter, who can work autonomously yet collaborate with many teams and priorities worldwide.  And they must embrace and champion change and be comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor organic search performance and generate reports for each defined region.
  • Utilize web analytics and other data sources to ensure business goals are met and provide insights on future actions.
  • Work with content creators to develop new ideas for optimizable content based on keyword and competitive research.
  • Collaborate on SEO strategies using competitor analysis, industry knowledge, and keyword research.
  • Optimize on-site content elements like page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and <body> content to ensure maximum visibility and rankings.
  • Keep up-to-date on SEO industry news and search engine algorithm changes.

Qualifications:

  • Two to four years of marketing experience.
  • An eagerness to learn and develop a world-class SEO skillset.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms, third-party marketing tools, and content management systems.
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and ability to influence other technical and non-technical groups through different communications strategies.
  • Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to work autonomously; produce work in a timely manner with extensive project management skills.
