Job Description

Key duties:

  • Develop plans aligned to our broader campaigns and themes, and provide direction to the wider team in terms of social media approach and best practice.
  • Provide training and support to senior management and Partners to enhance their understanding of social media best practices and aid the delivery of the social media strategy.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing leads to align social media activities and ensure consistent messaging and branding. Pushing back and remediating content when necessary.
  • Ability to work with members of the marketing and wider leadership to react to crisis situations occurring on social media.
  • Develop and execute a global social media strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives and target audiences.
  • Collaborate with our engineers, consultants, advisers to create engaging digital marketing materials.
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Act as the key point of contact for digital marketing requests coming into the team working with the leadership team to prioritise requests.
  • Develop a plan to use LinkedIn advertising to increase our audience and improve reach for key content such as thought leadership articles.
  • Oversee the creation of our digital content, such as LinkedIn newsletters.
  • Ensure the marketing tools we use – PlayPlay, Canva, etc. – are delivering for our needs and have the branding and templates available to ensure consistent output. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the company's social media presence.

 

Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field. Or equivalent industry training such as CIM or CAM.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing successful social media strategies for global organisations, preferably within the engineering or professional services industry.
  • Proven understanding of social media platforms, marketing technologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with regional marketing teams and adapt strategies to meet specific regional needs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
