This position requires specific experience and focus utilizing front end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular/React and Restful web services. Vendor management and Azure or Google Cloud experience are desirable but not required. Candidate should have more than 10 years of experience developing complex enterprise level solutions, a solid background in applications programming, a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, and several years of proven success as a technical team leader.

Agile Engineering Best Practices

• Understands the software development lifecycle and how various agile engineering practices can be used (e.g., in planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, acceptance testing).
• Understands when to apply agile methodologies vs. traditional methodologies to achieve the best development outcome.
• Applies agile engineering practices (e.g., Extreme Programming techniques such as pair programming and test-driven development) in own software development projects.

Project Management
• Develops project plans, defines timeframe, and prioritizes tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Front-end Software Developer, with a focus on both development and Support roles
• Experience in a lead developer role, with demonstrated ability to guide and mentor a development team
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, bootstrap, WCAG 2.0 (Web accessibility) and modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular is critical
• Experience with Micro Frontend Architecture and building reusable components.
• Experience in React is a plus.
• Familiarity with Shell scripting, Azure DevOps Server, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, Netsparker, Dynatrace, Grafana/Loki, Object Oriented Analysis & Design, RESTful APIs is a plus.
• Experience with highly available, large scale, multi-platform systems.
