Job Description

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, or Computer Science with a focus on Data Science.
  • Have a good understanding of, and academic experience with, deep learning and machine learning models.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more programming languages, such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with common machine learning and natural language processing evaluation metrics, such as accuracy, precision, and recall.
  • Understand API development and best practices.
  • Comfortable with Agile practices.
  • Academic experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and exposure to automation, system monitoring, and cloud-native applications.
  • Academic experience working on group software projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Software engineering practical experience or degree
  • Familiarity with building machine learning models and/or systems.
  • Ability to translate the latest research into implementations addressing our use cases.
  • Exposure to Computer Vision tasks, such as feature engineering, image processing, image classification, object detection, OCR, etc.
