Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and update versions of existing ones.
• Perform program design development and code management.
• Assists in the development of and owns an architecture governance process. Provides technical mentorship to project team areas as appropriate.
• Work with multiple teams in different locations and time zones
• Design reusable frameworks environment management and layout design
• Assist in investigating production issues and provide solutions.
• Perform unit integration and parallel testing.
• Analyze and understand existing programs job flows and components.
• Develop and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.
• Review test and debug team members’ work.
• Develop server-side components.
• Trouble shoot issues collaborate in making the systems stable sound perform faster and processing more in automated manner.
• Understand business and functional requirements to be developed.
• Write effective readable and clean code.
• Perform comprehensive testing including unit and integration testing on the apps.
• Write and update user documentation for processes connected to development including code and APIs.
• Find and fix application issues and performance bottlenecks.
  
  

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience or relevant experience
• Good experience with Java, Microservice and Node
• Proficient in building presentation layer using Angular and JavaScript.
• Experienced with cloud technology, AWS.
• Enterprise experience with MySQL databases.
• Desire to learn new technologies in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and participates actively in team discussions.
  
  

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $52K – 136K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
