We at Ericsson are now looking for a Junior Software Engineer who wish to join development of infrastructure software for Ericsson baseband units.

We belong to the Infrastructure SW for Integrated-RAN platform, and we are responsible for middleware control system, with a focus on security aspect. This makes us a key player in Ericsson journey in 5G and future 6G as well as Open RAN.

You will

• Join the multi-functional team with full feature responsibility, from the idea to the release:
• You will join the study process and understanding of requirements of the new features
• You will design and verify the implementation.
• You will deliver your code via continuous integration machinery toward the customers.
• Work with lean and agile concepts.
• Work with innovative technology such as 5G and OpenRAN.
• Learn about the platform software with our focus on control system and security of the control system.
• Learn about security concepts in Ericsson RAN SW
• Learn about MS-RBS RAN SW and part of the journey toward Ericsson Open RAN (ORAN).
• Be assisting in fixing and resolving software issues, support
• Learn how to design and develop salable and future proof software.
  
  

You will bring

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in physics, computer science, communications engineering or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Eager to work in a team and will to be a great teammate
• Good knowledge in C/C++, Erlang, …
• Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Erlang
• Basic understanding of software security concepts
• Innovation mentality paired with the ability to adapt and respond to change
• Excellent written and spoken communications skill in English
