Job Description
You’ll make an impact by:
- Pre-Sales support activities & testing for Industrial communication related products.
- Responsible for supporting the Pre-Sales Team (DI PA)/customers by providing technical assistance. Developing quality solutions that involves critical thinking, requirement analysis, situational assessment and consultation.
- Assisting in the deployment or troubleshooting of wired and wireless networks, including gateways, routers, firewalls etc.
- Provide remote/online/telephonic guided support to customers/partners on configuration topics.
You’ll win us over by:
- Should have good knowledge & experience in Industrial Communication & Identification products (Industrial Networking, Wireless, Cybersecurity, Industrial ethernet switches-SCALANCE, Ruggedcom devices…etc.). Experience in SIEMENS products of above portfolio would be of advantage.
- Should have basic knowledge in understanding customer/application requirements, industrial environments. Background of Industrial Automation products, Solutions, Industrial Networks/systems would be of advantage.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Familiar with active networking portfolio, IT/OT applications, Troubleshooting & Debugging skills etc.
- Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP, network security issues, solutions …etc.
- Willing to work & deliberate closely with pre-sales experts, product management teams and other stakeholders.
- CCNA Certification Required.
