Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 10 to 14 years of experience in the Electronic Payments domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft GitHub Copilot Spring Logging Java 8 Kubernetes GIT Maven J2EE Spring Boot Microservices Spring Core REST Web Services Core Java and PL/SQL.
Lead the design and development of complex software solutions using Java 8 Spring Boot and Microservices.
Oversee the implementation of REST Web Services to ensure seamless integration with external systems.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on best practices in using Microsoft GitHub Copilot and GIT.
Ensure the application of Spring Logging and Spring Core for robust and maintainable code.
Manage the deployment of applications on Kubernetes to ensure scalability and reliability.
Utilize Maven for efficient project build and dependency management.
Develop and maintain J2EE applications to support business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in the Electronic Payments domain.
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Implement PL/SQL scripts for database interactions and optimizations.
Ensure the security and performance of applications through rigorous testing and monitoring.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.
Qualifications
Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java technologies.
Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft GitHub Copilot Spring Logging Java 8 Kubernetes GIT Maven J2EE Spring Boot Microservices Spring Core REST Web Services Core Java and PL/SQL.
Have a strong background in the Electronic Payments domain.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a hybrid work model.
Show proficiency in English language skills both written and spoken.
Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 – $105,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
