Food Sales & Marketing Internship:
As a Sales & Marketing Intern for the Cargill Food Solutions Team, you will gain hands-on experience working on business projects within the Food Solutions Americas Team.
Food Solutions is one of our key businesses, with about 24,000 employees across the world serving food and beverage manufacturers, foodservice companies and retailers with food ingredients as well as food and non-food applications.
- Gain immediate hands-on work experience in one of the world's largest privately held companies
- Participate in orientation, mentoring relationships and other opportunities targeted toward development
- Network with employees at a variety of levels, functions, and businesses within our organization
- Receive regular feedback on job performance
- Volunteer on community service projects across the Minneapolis/St. Paul communities
- Present a final presentation to respective leadership teams on project outcomes, takeaways and final feedback of the internship activities and experience
Your Work:
- 50% - Sales: prospecting, relationship and sales skill building
- 50% - Marketing: marketing communications, category & product marketing projects

Internship Details:
- Internships are typically 12 weeks in duration
- Interns are paid hourly for time worked
- Interns are responsible for transportation to and from work
- Interns who demonstrate outstanding performance and a curiosity to learn more may be offered an internship, co-op or full-time position to return the following year

Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program (all majors considered), graduating between December 2025 and May 2026
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
- Proven ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures
- Candidates must be geographically flexible and willing to relocate to Wayzata, MN for an internship opportunity
- Able to complete a 12-week internship in the summer (May/June - August 2025)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Overall 3.0 GPA or higher based off of a 4.0 scale
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in general Business, Agriculture, Sales, or Marketing
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with ability to influence decision-making
- Strong analytical skills, focus and attention to detail
- Demonstrated curious nature and ability to handle multiple tasks with solid performance / results
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Relentless determination and courage to get things done
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to manage through ambiguous situations
- Must posess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance
