Financial Close Analyst is responsible for Monitoring critical month-end close processes and jobs.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of essential close processes, including revaluation, allocations, consolidations, and management reporting.
Responsibilities • Drives the end-to-end implementation of system solutions for customers, including functional and unit testing in collaboration with IT experts. • Conducts regular system audits and assessments to identify and address system inefficiencies, data discrepancies, and process bottlenecks. • Evaluates business requirements, conducts research to address customer requirements effectively, and engages in process design and re-engineering to align with process requirements. • Engages with internal customers to address minor complexity issues and provide effective solutions. • Researches external sources to analyze emerging trends and solutions, while also generating innovative project ideas. • Resolves problems, including limited non-standard ones, and devises risk mitigation and fallback strategies. • Leads initiatives for financial system and process enhancement and contributes expertise as a project resource. • Develops and maintains system documentation, including user guides, process flows, and standard operating procedures, to facilitate system understanding and training for end-users. • Develops conclusions, recommendations, and written reports, contributing proactively through research and data analysis support, and sharing knowledge to foster a knowledge management culture. • Works independently on moderate scope problems, applying professional expertise, exercising judgment, and resolving various issues by following company policies and procedures.
Education & Experience Recommended • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Finance, Computer Science, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. • Typically has 4-6 years of work experience, preferably in finance, internal audit, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
