We work to identify customer requirements and prioritize feature development.  Cisco Secure Workload Engineering – Site Reliability team is looking for an experienced Engineer with knowledge of the following skills:

 Who You Are :

•           BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical 8+ years of experience

•           Strong experience with Linux ( RHEL,CentOS,Ubuntu )

•           Strong programming experience in python, shell scripting (bash) and using git.

•           Hands on experience on Python development projects.

•           Have working experience with automation using Ansible

•           Experience of working with Ansible/Terraform or any other configuration, infrastructure management tools 24x7 Production support in SaaS/Public cloud environment

•           Prior experience in supporting a SaaS platform hosted in a public cloud is a plus.

•           Experience working with tools like iptables, tcpdump , Openssl (certificate management)

•           Proficient in TCP/IP, dns , dhcp , ntp, smtp

•           Excellent troubleshooting skills at application, network and host operating system levels

•           Good understanding of system/application security

•           Experienced with package management tools (rpm, dpkg, apt-get)

•           Experienced with troubleshooting web-based applications (nginx, haproxy, ruby)

•           Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.

•           Knowledge of virtualization (KVM/VMware) and cloud environments like AWS/Oracle Cloud is a Plus.

•           Willing to participate in an on-call pager rotation Interface and Collaborate with internal product/development teams
