Responsibilities

Analysis: 

• Collects and analyzes business data and identifies trends, opportunities and gaps. 

• Provides insights and recommendations to support decision-making. 

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify patterns and generate hypotheses. 

• Works towards aligning customer needs with business goals and strategy. 

• Integrates data to help inform plans to improve the program, in collaboration with others. 

• Works with minimal guidance to ensure alignment between the customer, internal stakeholders, and the goals of and strategy of Microsoft.  

Product/Service Definition: 

• Identifies risks and proposes mitigations for risks using data. 

• Defines success criteria and performance metrics (Objectives and Key Results on performance) with limited supervision and works with Engineering and Data Science teams to ensure needed telemetry is developed. 

Product/Service Development: 

• Collaborates with others in orchestrating and integrating efforts for the development and implementation process of a group of features. 

• Helps track and manage dependencies to enable cohesive, connected user scenarios and to avoid issues and mitigate risks. 
  
  
  

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years' experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development 

• OR equivalent experience. 

• 1+ years' experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 1+ years' experience managing large-scale programs in technology deployments or production system changes.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years' experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development 

• OR equivalent experience. 

• 4+ years' experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.  

• 1+ year(s) SQL & PowerBI experience.
• Professional global program experience.
• Industry experience in systematic problem solving.
• Experience scaling a program, supply chain, or production system.
