Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies to meet project requirements.
- Implement and handle AWS EC2 instances to ensure efficient performance and cost-efficiency.
- Use AWS EKS for container orchestration and management, ensuring flawless deployment of applications.
- Manage AWS RDS databases to ensure data integrity, availability, and security.
- Integrate Open-Search for efficient search and analytics capabilities within cloud applications.
- Configure and maintain AWS Elastic Cache to improve application performance through caching.
- Use Terraform for infrastructure as code, enabling automated and repeatable deployments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline the development and deployment process.
- Supervise and visualize system performance using Grafana to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Employ Spinnaker for continuous delivery and release management, ensuring smooth application updates.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define and implement cloud architecture standard methodologies.
- Provide technical mentorship and support to team members encouraging a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Fix and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications ensuring minimal downtime.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience.
- Strong understanding of AWS Services: Doc DB, OpenSearch, RDS, EKS, KMS, MSK, Spinnaker.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure as code and automated deployments.
- Have experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
- Show expertise in monitoring and visualization tools like Grafana for system performance analysis.
- Skilled in using Spinnaker for continuous delivery and release management.
- Background in online e-commerce or listing and finding services is a plus.
The annual salary for this position is between $ 90,000.00 - $ 105,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
