Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX or be willing to relocate to any of these locations. 
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. 
• US citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. 
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology 
• At least 4 years of ETL tools like Matillion, informatica, DBT 
• Knowledge on AWS Services – GLUE, LAMBDA, S3, SQS, SNS
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to lead solution development and delivery for the design solutions 
• Knowledge in Service Oriented Architecture 
• Relevant AWS development experience in enterprise level large scale multi-tier solutions that require complex Architectural decisions 
• Knowledge of architectural design patterns, performance tuning, database and functional designs 
• Technical Skills:
• Integration Tools: Oracle warehouse builder 
• Programming Languages: Python, Javascript, JSON, XML, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, .NET 
• Databases: Snowflake, PostgresSQL, MySQL, Oracle 11g, SQL Server 
• API and Frameworks: API, REST web services 
• Source Code Management : GIT, BitBucket, Code Commit 
• Good understanding of SDLC is a pre-requisite 
• Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate 
• Knowledge in Snowflake features like clustering , time travel, cloning, logical data warehouse, caching etc. 
• Design dimensional model, data lake architecture, data vault on snowflake and used snowflake logical data warehouse for compute 
• Sound Knowledge with relational databases like mySQL, Oracle, SQL server and good knowledge of NoSQL data stores. 
• Very strong in English communication -written and verbal 

 The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
