Job Description
- Design and commission new test equipment for drives and printed circuit boards
- Support new product introduction into daily production as part of a cross functional team
- Independently debug/update/modify and maintain software and hardware in test systems
- Ensure product and process quality using quality tools and metrics
- Interact with R&D, Quality and Manufacturing Engineers during new product introductions and as part of continuous improvement initiatives
- Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding test capabilities, production planning, and other considerations to facilitate production processes
- Bachelors’ Degree (BSEE) or Masters’ Degree (MSEE) in Electrical Engineering, or alternatively in Test Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 3-5 years’ experience in design and development of test equipment in a production environment
- Experience with data acquisition, automation systems (PLCs, etc.) and control panels
- Experience with test software, especially NI LabVIEW and TestStand
