Design and commission new test equipment for drives and printed circuit boards
Support new product introduction into daily production as part of a cross functional team
Independently debug/update/modify and maintain software and hardware in test systems
Ensure product and process quality using quality tools and metrics
Interact with R&D, Quality and Manufacturing Engineers during new product introductions and as part of continuous improvement initiatives
Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding test capabilities, production planning, and other considerations to facilitate production processes
Bachelors’ Degree (BSEE) or Masters’ Degree (MSEE) in Electrical Engineering, or alternatively in Test Engineering or Computer Engineering
3-5 years’ experience in design and development of test equipment in a production environment
Experience with data acquisition, automation systems (PLCs, etc.) and control panels
Experience with test software, especially NI LabVIEW and TestStand
