Key Responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the Oil and Gas sector.
- Analyze competitors and industry dynamics to develop effective sales strategies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Oil and Gas sector.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
- Adjust sales strategies accordingly to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with HQ Team for portfolio and business target alignments.
- Technical and Business Expertise:
- Possess domain expertise related to application of automation systems, electrification solutions, Motor, drives and digitalization for O&G sector.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal stakeholders addressing specific needs and challenges.
- Formulate concept design, technical specification, timelines, and resource requirement. with proposal and delivery team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure fit to purpose proposals.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and the client.
- Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients and effectively acquire new clients.
- Position our organization as a trusted partner with customer.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA an added advantage
- Proven experience in business development and sales within the Oil and Gas sector.
- Strong technical understanding of Electrical and automation systems products and application in the oil and Gas Sector
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel (60%).
