Job Description

Reporting to the VP & Head of Sales, Siemens Energy India, you will play a key role in driving a strong culture of accountability, execution, collaboration, and customer focus across the Siemens Energy businesses. You will be setting up a clear long-term vision for this Key account and Vertical Market, defining the expected outcomes, goals & achievements, exceeding annual plans, customer recognition and continuous improvement in customer satisfaction are key objectives and outcomes of this senior leadership role.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Key Account Management

  • Analyze customer’s market, business drivers & strategy and effectively transfers this knowledge internally.
  • Evaluate account potential, create account Business Plan; pursue business opportunities in collaboration with relevant businesses.
  • Geographical and vertical customer mapping with Siemens Energy
  • Enhance Customer Relations and CXO level connect.
  • Develop opportunities with focus on decarbonization & sustainability.
  • Early lead engagement, development with favorable positioning to increase success rate.

Vertical Market Manager (Oil & Gas)

  • Identify key trends, investments, regulations, competitive scenario in Oil & Gas Vertical market.
  • Identify and address vertical challenges with cross-business customized solutions.
  • Drive digitalization and sustainability using the portfolio.
  • Lead a team of Account managers supervising key oil & gas customers.

The above are broad elements of the role; and the expectation is to ideate, influence, build internal and external network, work with virtual teams, and drive tangible outcomes.

Key Performance Indicators (critical metrics)

  • Grow Order volumes > Potential growth.
  • Account / Market Visibility >80%
  • Increase in share of wallet.
  • Cross business volume > 30%
  • Customer recognition, YOY NPS improvement, Partner / Vendor awards.
  • Strategic engagement, Use / Reference Cases, MOU etc.

  • Engineer with additional management qualifications (preferred) with >20 years Sales / Account Management / Business development experience in the Indian Energy Sector.
  • Able to identify market drivers and expansion strategies.
  • Should have good understanding of market and macro/micro trends in the Oil & Gas / New energy business.
  • Strategic problem solver
  • Grows with collaboration / Great teammate.
  • Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Siemens Energy portfolio
