Job Description
- Create complex ETLs to extract complex data sets across multiple sources to be used for data analysis and reporting purposes
- Work closely with technical and design teams to make sure that data definitions and technical logic specifications align with business requirements
- Design and develop reports and dashboards
- Create technical specifications for Data Extraction Programming Presentation to business
- At least 6 years experience in data warehousing and reporting
- Must have: Advanced experience in developing complex Informatica mappings/workflows
- Knowledge of SSRS and SSIS is very good to have
- Advanced experience with MySQL,,Oracle PL/SQL using Merge, Analytical, Aggregate functions
- Experienced in translating business requirements into analytics dashboards/reports to aid in business decision making and planning using tools BI tools such as Tableau, Crystal Reports, OBIEE, Qlikview, etc.
- Experience in performance tuning/optimization of database queries
- Experience in job scheduling technologies like BuildForge and Automic
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing/ dimensional modelling concepts
- Knowledge of Unix Shell scripting is a plus
- Escalates unresolved issues / risk appropriately and proposes mitigation steps to protect the delivery
- Able to work with minimal supervision and drive deliverables independently
