Kforce has a client that is seeking a Sales Manager/Director in Fremont, CA. Responsibilities Include:
- Sales Manager/Director will be driving sales by developing opportunities and driving to close with understanding of value proposition relative to the market
- Developing and closing business opportunities with strategic accounts to meet assigned business objectives; Leading and influencing customers in network decisions
- Attainment of sales targets for fixed line and mobility products and solution sets
- Devising and executing sales strategy to achieve assigned sales targets by managing and coordinating the overall sales activities
- Working with internal management to identify, qualify, and develop both fixed line and mobile opportunities; deliver value proposition, sales presentations, competitive positioning
- Developing cross-functional/organizational relationships
- As a Sales Manager/Director, you will be providing forecast and pipeline reporting
- Representing and prioritizing customer requirements with internal solutions development/cross functional team
- Preparing and delivering presentations to existing/potential customers to provide technical training and to generate interest in new products
- Managing revenue goals for the given account(s) and providing regular updates to senior sales/operations staff concerning account issues, forecasting, etc.
- Independently demonstrating the ability to provide direction to company-wide resources in support of account strategies and proposals
Requirements
- 5+ to 7 years of related sales experience involving the sale of telecom products/devices
- Experience with Commscope or Arris and in charge of Verizon account will be a plus
- Experience with sales leadership and market/ecosystem knowledge in the customer base
- Must possess knowledge of the wireline and/or wireless industry and its ecosystem
- Professional, highly motivated, and detail-oriented
- Understanding of key business challenges facing the mobile operator/wireless, telco, and MSO community
- Ability to work in a highly matrix organization, collaborative environment breaking down barriers between cross-functional organization
- Strong business acumen and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly motivated and capable of operating effectively from remote locations
- Exceptional customer facing skills in partnership with sales leads and subordinates
