Job Description
As a member of the Digital Marketing and Operations team, the Manager, Marketing Technology will support and enhance Ansys’ marketing efforts by focusing on the platforms and tools that enable efficient and effective marketing processes. This individual will oversee the team responsible for the marketing technology stack and e-mail campaign execution, drive process improvements within marketing via automation, ensure data accuracy and compliance, and integrate tools and technologies from acquired companies into the Ansys environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to analyze business needs and partner with marketing teams to recommend, implement and optimize marketing technology and tools.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as system administrator/product owner for MCAE/Pardot including all administrator functions.
- Implement industry best practices for automation including lead routing frameworks, scoring & nurturing strategies.
- Ensure data governance and compliance including de-duplication, clean-up, uploads and migrations.
- Drive the decommissioning of tools from acquired companies and oversee the migration to Ansys systems and processes.
- Lead the team responsible for executing global email marketing campaigns with an emphasis on providing reporting, insights, and suggestions for tactic and channel optimization.
- Be the go-to contact for marketing technology needs by working with the broader Marketing organization to research, evaluate and implement new technologies.
- Maintain and manage the marketing tech roadmap and work with Marketing Operations, Sales Operations & IT to prioritize business requirements for updates & enhancements.
- Maintain backlog, develop & groom user stories, test, and work with broader team on change management and enablement documentation.
- Collaborate with other product owners across Ansys to align roadmaps to overall digital transformation strategy.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or other related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing automation and marketing technology experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a people manager role.
- MCAE/Pardot/SFDC certified admin & up to date with marketing tech innovations, tools & trends.
- Experience with email segmentation, personalization/dynamic content, opt in/out procedures & global data privacy laws (GDPR, CAN SPAM Compliance).
- Experience with lead scoring and nurture programs.
- Analytical problem solver with acute attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong verbal, listening and written communication.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with global teams.
- Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced team environment.
- Travel as required (approximately 10% depending on geography and market needs).
