Qualification
- Typically with a masters/bachelors degree in visual design/visual communication/UI design/Graphics Having certification in user centered design is plus
- Exceptional candidates may come from varied background but must have a solid design portfolio.
Responsibility
Business / Customer:
- Convert business objectives into and optimized user experience design solutions.
- Able to create tangible concepts/ideas as a part of innovation that can make a difference to the competency, business.
- Zero escalations and have the necessary appreciations from the customer.
Project /Process
- Able to take ownership of more than one project from delivery perspective.
- Create conceptual des+E10igns to illustrate new ideas.
- Develop scenarios and storyboards to communicate design concepts to team members and clients.
- Create visual designs that effectively communicate product function and brand identity, including the design and production of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements, and icons.
- Work with Creative Directors, Lead Visual Designers, Visual Designers, Interaction Designers and Developers to create and design visual treatments and interaction solutions that meet client specifications.
- Work on estimations, provide necessary inputs for the project status, based on activities assigned and raise issues/concerns to the project lead on time.
- Contribute towards updating knowledge assets and provide process improvements.
- Follow quality assurance norms.
- Stay abreast with the latest design trends and media technologies.
- Ensure all the deliverables get reviewed by the lead visual designer as well as peers.
- Follow all the necessary project related documentation.
- Create wireframes and mockups that would help develop a prototype.
- Ensure and Insist every project communications in a mails, no communication can be considered in calls or messenger All Client / vertical feedback to be documented.
Delivery Excellence
- Peer review of the work is mandatory.
- Ensure the people tagged under and their works being reviewed before client delivery.
- Ensure the designs are as per the standards adhering to the mediums.
- Ensure the PL or the PM of the project does a QA before the files are delivered to the client / vertical team.
- Ensure error free deliverables while completing the task All feedbacks from client / peers leads to be taken and ensure quality deliverables are produced.
- Follow Error tracking sheet.
- There should be proper documentation in place before the project starts, with the list of inputs provided and assumptions and risk factors.
- The project deliverables should be as per the plan, in case of any delay in deliverables, PM and interdependent project teams should be notified in advance, via email.
- Ensure Zero Defects design outputs are delivered to the clients.
- Proper file naming convention must be followed with proper folder structure and layer labeling.
