Onsite Performance Engineer with Dynatrace

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Performance Engineering and Dynatrace
  • Experience in managing performance engineering projects and end-to-end delivery of performance engineering tasks
  • Expert level knowledge and experience with Application Performance Monitoring solutions such as Dynatrace. Hands-on skills with automation and performance tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter
  • Knowledge on DevOps practices and Agile methodologies. Experience with log aggregation tools such as Splunk is also required to generate insights about an application.
  • Experience in Production Performance monitoring

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Monitor Production systems, set up alerts for infrastructure operational issues and create monitoring dashboards
  • Measure and optimize system performance, administer production jobs, coordinate debugging, manage and forecast system capacity
  • Bring in monitoring solutions, integrate Continuous Integration and Delivery workflows (CI/CD) and collaboratively implement architecture best practices in Cloud environment.
  • Develop software systems and automated solutions for operational aspects in an organization.
  • Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

Must Have Skills

  • Performance testing with Dynatrace
  • APM monitoring and analysis
  • LoadRunner, JMeter
  • Good Communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple teams / stakeholders
  • Experience in driving meetings and brain storming sessions
