Role Description

The purpose of this role is to collate and produce quality assuring data for reporting and analysis and/or to manage business processes, using a range of systems and applying statistical principles to provide insight to our business.

About You

• Collates and quality assures range of data for reporting and analysis
• Acts as a data Subject Matter Expert (SME) to continually improve our insight capability and support business users of our data
• Provides accurate, timely and actionable business information using range of systems and software
• Liaises with internal and external customers to gather requirements for reporting or analysis and interprets information to generate insight or manage business processes, historically or in real time
• Designs and builds data and/or reporting outputs to meet the agreed customer requirements, anticipating future use
• Performs analysis to support functional performance, adherence to policies and procedures, and Key Performance Indicators. May support operational performance, dialler practices and resource planning
• Performs business acceptance testing to ensure ongoing quality of data assets as part of IT and business change cycle, as required.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Familiar with legislation relating to use and storage of data
• Understanding of statistical principles, Business Intelligence (BI) software and its application.
  
  

Qualifications

• Will have or be required to gain certification in use of BI tools such as SAS and Microstrategy
• Achieved or working towards CII is encouraged.
