Job Description
You'll be part of the Engineering/Data team with a focus on CX and Sales. You'll use our data warehouse (Metabase/Clickhouse) to answer questions like:
- What property attributes are most predictive of an early cancellation?
- Given a data set of 100,000 inbound messages from customers and agents, how often is our reply unhelpful/discourteous?
- Which support agents are skewing to email vs phone vs SMS and how is that impacting their productivity and customer satisfaction?
You'll use SQL/DBT to build models so the teams you support can easily answer questions themselves (at Steadily we teach everyone to self-serve with Metabase's query builder).
Your Background
- 90th-percentile: you're one of the best in your field, and it shows in your career trajectory
- R/Python: you're not a developer, but you reach for R or Python to transform large data sets without hesitation
- Curious: you are not just an order-taker... you are curious about what makes the business tick and you learn the intricacies of how it runs. This results in strong intuition for when analysis is wrong and leads you to suggest ideas and insights that nobody thought to ask for.
Compensation And Benefits
- Compensation is at least $130,000 and includes equity
- 3 weeks PTO plus six federal holidays

- Steadily is a fully in-person company. This role will be located in Overland Park, KS (preferred) or Austin, TX.
