Job Description

As a Pursuit specialist on our team you will:

  • Manage proposal opportunities, coordinate with proposal writing/design team and account team
  • Make contribution to the development and continuous improvement of proposal management processes, tools, and templates.
  • Synthesize data from all sources, determine essential areas and apply results to pursuit effort.
  • Demonstrate a high level of comprehension and application in delivering proposal content.
  • Provide the methodologies, procedures, tools, and templates to support proposal development efforts
  • Appropriately support pursuit team in developing win themes and messaging that supports established win themes. Identify gaps in approach and makes effective recommendations.
  • Manage responsibility across multiple, concurrent projects
  • Adjust to shifting priorities, stringent deadlines, last minute requirements, and occasional evening/weekend hours to accomplish tasks within non-negotiable client deadlines
  • Act as the central point for the proposal development process –
    • Evaluate the requirements
    • Manage a timely process
    • Work with the proposal team to develop content that is clear, effective and consistent
    • Demonstrate and contribute techniques and experience
    • Demonstrate confidence and maintain focus on top priority actionable items.
    • Work with leadership to navigate team dynamics to achieve meeting outcomes.
    • Mentor others in developing their facilitative skills
  • Contribute to the development of team –
    • Collaborate with other team members
    • Support positive teambuilding
    • Take and conduct training as appropriate
    • Introduce and share best in class content and examples with pursuit teams.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3-5 years of experience in pursuit/bid management
  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Business/Management

Skills

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, preferably in US English
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to “get smart quick” on a wide variety of topics
  • Prioritize and multitask within a fast-paced, challenging, and deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management
  • Project management skills and superior Microsoft Office skills
  • High level of flexibility and adaptability
  • Attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills
  • Team-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple projects at once
