Acts as liaison between the business users and information technology (IT)
Suggest recommendations to address specific business needs for IT-based solutions; collaborate with multiple cross-functional areas such as externally and internally, in the implementation of system and business processes
Define system scopes and objectives, as well as the content of required documentation; evaluate new software products to determine their applicability to current and future IT environments
Manage vendor relationships, including issue notifications and follow-ups until resolution
Perform functional impact analysis on all changes and provide input to the testing team on risk areas following up to ensure risk mitigation is successfully applied, and escalate any potential issues to management
Qualifications:
Minimum one year of recent experience with business analytics in an IT environment
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
End-to-end IT business analyst experience including strong documentation; experience using Microsoft Products, Project Management Systems
Familiarity with SQL, Agile Methodology, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to be proactive, results-oriented, with a can-do attitude to meet critical deadlines
