Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows and MySQL DB Administration. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can manage and optimize our IT infrastructure ensuring seamless operations and high availability. The position operates during the day shift and does not require travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Oversee MySQL database administration including installation configuration and maintenance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows and MySQL environments.
• Implement and monitor backup and recovery procedures for critical data.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures to maintain system integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects.
• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
• Perform regular system updates and patches to keep the infrastructure secure.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for Windows and MySQL systems.
• Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans.
• Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and applications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in IT infrastructure management.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong background in Windows server administration with at least 7 years of experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in MySQL DB administration including performance tuning and optimization.
• Have a solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
• Show proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
• Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Hold relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or MySQL Database Administrator.
• Display a proactive approach to learning and staying current with emerging technologies.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address infrastructure challenges.
• Show experience in developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for IT systems.
