Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple programs which also includes managing stakeholder relationships to ensure critical business initiatives are fully supported. You will need to develop cross-functional execution plans, drive implementation of both strategic and tactical initiatives, and be able to fully understand and respond to risks in a timely manner . Day-to-day you can expect the following:
- Translate technical and operational problems into clear objectives
- Drive all aspects of program execution from design to launch
- Lead interactions with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, business operations, finance, marketing, and others.
- Influence cross-function stakeholders, and obtain buy-in on project requirements, objectives, and strategy
- Develop detailed project plans, taking large complex initiatives and breaking them down into management tasks and deliverables
- Track and analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Establish project and program standards and governance across the team
- Report project status, actions, risks, and blockers to stakeholders
- Communicate crisply and concisely with executive leadership
- Solve high-impact problems and quickly responding to changing business demands
- Recommend process improvements and serve as an escalation point for issues and questions
Qualifications
- 5+ years project/program management experience
- PMP certification a plus
- Understanding of Program management roles/functions and should have delivered multiple programs from the ground up
- Knowledge of agile practices a must (including some experience with JIRA/confluence preferred)
- Effective communication skills with all levels of management.
- Ability to succeed through collaboration and working through other internal and external organizations and individuals.
- Strong leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to learn quickly and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to apply independent and sound business judgment to solve complex issues.
- Works independently with minimal supervision required and can lead cross-functional teams to complete projects and major initiatives using judgment, experience, and leadership skills.
- Potential to travel up to 20% of the time
