Job Description
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 8 years of related work experience of which 5 years must be progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Applying quality systems requirements and Industrial Quality Standards including AS9100 and AS9102;
- Using Excel, including pivot tables and formula creation, and Powerpoint, including presentation and animation creation;
- Using and applying Risk Assessment Methodologies and conducting supplier audits in any of the following: Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (“DFMEA”), Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (“PFMEA”), Advanced Product Quality Planning (“APQP”), product audits, process audits, system audits, OR supplier capability and capacity assessments;
- Applying Root Cause Corrective Action models in either 5 whys method OR Fishbone diagram method;
- Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, including blueprints and schematic readings and airplane engineering technical documents;
- Engineering Process Improvement Methods, producibility and process improvement methodologies in statistical process control and 6-Sigma; and
