Responsibilities:
Candidate should have 8 to 12 years of experience as Technical Writer preferably with Aerospace experience
Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
Write and edit technical documentation for all project hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and how-to documentation.
Create code documentation for software; produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities.
Create and maintain the information architecture.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical staff to collect and interpret technical information.
Ensure compliance with industry and company documentation standards, including SAE Aerospace Standards, AIAA Standards, and technical publication standards such as those from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)123.
Create visual aids like diagrams, charts, and graphs to better explain complex technical information.
Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.
Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style and content.
Manage updates and revisions to technical literature

Compensation: - Base Pay and this position are also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
