Participate in periodic on-call rotation for network incident support, quickly mitigate impact and restore service availability through a software enabled toolset.
Evangelize best network engineering practices and processes within and across teams.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
2+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation
OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in networking Industry or large-scale data center network
Experience working with L2/L3 switching platforms, application networking and network protocols like BGP, OSPF, VRRP, LACP
Experience working in large scale data center/cloud environment with an understanding of passive components (UTP Cabling, Optical cabling)
Experience in one or more programming languages: C++, Java, Python, Perl
Experience in understanding and authoring machine readable formats like XML, JSON
Excellent communication skills and team player with ability to build solid relationships at all levels, across teams, geographies, and business functions
Experience in solving broad business problems and analytical skills
Excellent judgment, decision-making skills, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure when the situation is ambiguous
Strong negotiation skills and conflict management skills
