Job Description

As a Security Development Engineer at Adobe, you will be joining a team responsible for building various Security tools and automations from the ground up. Our focus is on providing value to the organization by emphasizing real-world security and adopting automation, as well as optimizing Security processes. The ideal candidate is an expert software developer with security mindset. They will be responsible for building security tools and automations to improve overall Security of Adobe’s infrastructure and applications.   

Primary Responsibilities May Include, but Are Not Limited To

  • Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining robust, reliable, and scalable technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks. 
  • Evaluating external Security tools available and providing recommendations. 
  • Partnering with various other Security org functions like Security Architects or Security Partners to define the requirements of Security tool being developed. 
  • Integrate with external Security tools to meet the custom requirements of Adobe. 
  • Helping to rapidly scale the platform. As a member of the security team, you'll be an integral part of how we mature our own tooling, standard methodologies, and engineering processes. 

  

Requirements 

  • 1-3 years of working on developing tools/software related to Security. 
  • Understanding of the latest security principles and techniques. 
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and its associated security suites (e.g., IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, etc.). 
  • Relevant development experience in at least one programming language, preferably Python. 
  • Experience in web development frameworks such as AngularJS and ReactJS. 
  • Strong understanding and experience in DevSecOps principles, building and supporting containerized systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as a team member
  • Familiarity with modern infrastructure technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation. 
  • Strong communicator with both words and data  
  • Comfortable with complexity in the short term but can build towards simplicity in the long term.
