Job Description

  • Management
  • Regular Voice of Sales and Voice of Customer survey to understand the Product Gaps and execute action plan to address the gaps
  • Ensure correct Pricing and Positioning for all the products in the portfolio, with timely revisions as per the market demand
  • Manage Gross Margins for the portfolio by putting the right pricing strategies in place
  • Effectively manage the product launches and phase-outs. This would also include adherence to a detailed Product launch plan and effective launch communication
  • End to end brand ownership and product lifecycle management (product phase-in/out, demand planning, SIOP). Ensure portfolio is always relevant to the market with optimal brand mix to ensure all target segments are served profitably with minimal conflict and cannibalization.


  • Product Competency Building
  • Drive Product knowledge & Value based sales competency among internal teams (Sales, Marketing & Product Support) and channels (System Integrators, Distributers) through regular, structured trainings
  • Support Sales team in effectively communicating the value proposition of the portfolio to external ecosystem including System Integrators, Distributers, Consultants and End Users
  • Keep the team updated on solution offerings and arm them with specification points, differentiators, USPs, comparisons, selectors & other sales tools
  • Marketing Communications
  • Engage with Marcom team for all new product launches w.r.t. branding, launch plan, events, collaterals, etc to ensure effective communication internally and externally
  • Coordination with Marcom and Partner Connect team to ensure timely update of Website and ePortals
  • Competition Mapping
  • Develop strong market network to gather market intelligence and update competition activities on regular basis. Use this knowledge to create means to effectively compete and continuously upgrade the portfolio
  • Track competition pricing to understand Market Operating prices of products and align our pricing with market on regular basis

  • Experience: 8+ years of Product Management, sales & marketing experience in a B2B company or relevant start-ups and involved in new product development, portfolio management and value pricing of products
  • Industry: Experience in Connected Buildings, Energy management systems is mandatory. Experience of building and managing IoT, SaaS and digital products is highly preferred.
  • Results driven track record – proven ability to translate strategies into action and results
  • Start-up / Entrepreneurial experience welcome – should have created a business or product line from scratch
  • Excellent written, oral, and technical communication skills, including presentation experience to large and diverse audience.
  • Possess strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
