Responsibilities

Response and Resolution
• You review, investigate and solve customer technical issues, collaborating within and across teams and leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices

 

Readiness
• You participate in communities with peer delivery roles.
• You develop specific technical and professional proficiency to enable you to understand and resolve customer issues, through training and readiness.

 

Product/Process Improvement
• You identify potential product defects and provide feedback to more senior engineers, contributing to Microsoft product improvements

 

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:
3+ years technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience

 

Language Qualification
English Language: fluent in reading, writing and speaking.

 

Product knowledge:

• Knowledge of Big Data concepts such as structured data vs unstructured data vs semi structured data
• Experience in Extract Transform Load (ETL) / Extract Load Transform (ELT) pipelines
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure Data Factory (ADF), Networking and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) preferred.
• Fundamental awareness of Private, Hybrid and Public Cloud. Any Azure certification is a plus
• Solid understanding of standard computer science concepts, as well as knowledge of personal computer architecture and Operating systems, e.g., Windows and Linux
• Programming and debugging skills required, with additional knowledge of JSON, XML and CSV preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP protocols and OSI model, with experience in troubleshooting network environments and familiarity with packet sniffers, e.g., Wireshark or Network Monitor, is preferred
• DNS, TLS and DHCP knowledge is a plus, along with Firewall and Proxy basic knowledge

 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.
