Job Description

The Business Development Manager will drive growth of the North America Beverage Business through building a winning strategy across target categories and leading the team to execute in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop strategy, lead and execute business plans for several Beverage categories to meet growth and profit targets
  • Contribute to the overall growth of North America Taste & Beyond Division by managing and driving growth and profitability in the respective categories.
  • Apply strategic thinking to identify new business opportunities, prospect customers and explore new business models relevant for the categories.
  • Be a strategic partner to Sales, demonstrating strong business acumen and actively engaging with customers
  • Provide leadership and direction to the category team composed of Applications, Creation, Marketing and Consumer Insight to ensure successful execution of strategic plans.

You bring

  • Bachelor’s degree. 10+ years’ experience in a business development/applications role in a related field/industry. Proven experience across a variety of Beverage Segments, with strong experience in alcoholic beverages desired.
  • Strong cross-functional partnering, team-working approach, strategic relationship building and communication skills.
  • Absolute customer focus, strong project management and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, fast paced environment with tight deadlines while managing multiple projects and initiatives.
  • A willingness to learn, to challenge and to be stretched
  • Ability to travel-approximately 25% domestically, or as needed.
