Responsibilities

 MySQL HeatWave team is working on next-generation large-scale distributed systems designed for the most popular database in the world and optimized for the cloud. We need expertise in the  following (or related) areas:

  • Database kernel development
  • Query processing/big data analytics
  • System software, including operating system kernels
  • Cloud computing
  • Machine learning
  • Computer Architecture, Compilers, and Programming languages

 

We are looking for candidates with a PhD/ Master’s in  CS/CE with:

  • Strong background in design and development
  • Demonstrated research excellence
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including scientific writing, presenting, and formal briefings
