Responsibilities
· Compile scientific data from multiple sources, verify accuracy of all data, perform calculations, and build reports.
· Proof completed reports and send to customers. Store completed work in designated locations according to specific naming conventions and perform backup operations.
· Data analysis. This requires you to understand all lab equipment and procedures and to communicate with other technicians about their functions: GC-MS, microscopy, extraction, gravimetric balance, Gram staining, CFU counts, etc.
· Communicate effectively with all lab personnel and with customer service about missing data and deviations to ensure on-time completion and delivery of all reports.
· Maintain business and client confidentiality.
Basic Qualifications
· Minimum of 2-4 additional years of relevant work experience
· Bachelors of Science preferred: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, etc.
· Adherence to processes outlined in our SOPs and Quality manual
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
On site. We’re located in the 78738 zip code, near Bee Cave in southwest Austin.
