Design Manager Position Overview

• Overseeing the technical detailing and quality control of the team's drawings & details
• Providing high level technical advice to existing team whilst supporting and training of less experienced staff
• Work on a variety of social housing projects through all RIBA plan of works
• Produce and oversee high-quality drawings on AutoCAD & Revit
• Attendance at Client and Contractor Design/Technical review meetings
• Management of RFI's and IRS's
  
  

Design Manager Position Requirements

• High level construction technical knowledge
• Proficient user AutoCad, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign (proficient in Revit preferable)
• MCIAT qualified preferable
• Proven experience in a comparable Design Office environment
• A thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations is essential (to include all stages of the RIBA plan of works)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and written articulation skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A team player with the determination to drive projects forward
