A pioneering engineering firm based in Bristol is urgently looking for aSenior Mechanical Engineer. They're working at the forefront of the defence technology industry and this role will see you playing a key role in a complex tactical communications system to enhance the required defence capabilities and critical assets.

The role will involve working in Producing maintenance procedures for the supported systems. Working on mechanical engineering deliverables like 3D CAD and Technical drawing and able to read and interpret hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.

Skills Required

• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Have experience originating and checking mechanical engineering deliverables, ie Technical drawings, 3D CAD drawings, technical documentation etc.
• Producing exploded diagrams to the instructions and producing detailed written and pictorial instructions to the operators and maintainers of these systems.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Able to read, create, and verify maintenance manuals and exploded diagrams.
• Expertise with Team Centre and NX, as well as knowledge of how to read and understand hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Creating comprehensive written and visual instructions that show how to maintain and replace the user-serviceable components for the operators and maintainers of these systems.
• Creating exploded diagrams to go along with the directions. and examining and verifying the work of the team's other members.
