Main Job Duties
- Communicate directly with key end-users in the business to translate business/data challenges into reports, insights, and analysis.
- Respond to user requests to develop, test, and run reports to extract/report on requested data, i.e. writing technical/functional specifications for end users.
- Develop data models, processes, and structure to provide insights to key business stakeholders.
- Analyze and intimately understand database tables to establish knowledge of data for accurate retrieval and use in report writing.
- Utilize available tools such as Power BI, SFDC and SAP to provide technical reports.
- Create, update, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards from multiple systems (i.e. Salesforce, Power BI, SAP).
- Work closely with end users, programmers, and functional teams to design business intelligence and operational reporting solutions for decision making and compliance monitoring.
- Analyze sales, marketing & financial data contained in various databases to identify data reporting issues and root cause analysis for existing and proposed system tools.
- Responsible for Salesforce account hierarchies and data maintenance tasks including both individual and mass record updates to ensure clean reporting outputs.
- Document detailed specifications for each report including both the technical specifications and a summary of the report.
- Perform data consolidation/data analysis and communicate findings to the executive team.
- Contribute to building out division-led analytics initiative using Power BI
- Utilize software to generate metrics and develop actionable recommendations. Provide support to research teams or management by collecting and analyzing data and reporting results.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with an emphasis in Business and/or Marketing; or at least 1-2 years applicable experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years related experience in a data analysis role.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide concise insights and analysis to multiple groups in the company including Engineering, Finance, Product Management, Marketing, and Sales.
- Ability to clearly communicate insights and reporting confidently to executive leadership.
- Ability to problem solve and implement creative solutions to automate data flows
- Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and Power Pivot/Power Query to manipulate and analyze data.
- Advanced computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook/PPT)
- Experience with Salesforce.com, SQL and Python preferred.
- Ability to interface effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
