Job Description
As a Specialist, you will collaborate with a blended US/USI team and exhibit agility in driving connections across a diverse and cross-functional set of stakeholders. Reporting to the DTA Manager, your responsibilities may include (but is not limited to):
- Planning, executing, and operationalizing development/ learning programs and processes that support Deloitte professionals’ performance and growth in technology
- Creating and reviewing deliverables for accuracy and quality
- Assisting in the creation and development of various learning programs and training experiences
- Participating in project teams to build positive, collaborative partnerships among a diverse set of cross-functional business and talent stakeholders, SMEs, and peers
- Demonstrating initiative in gathering feedback and data from practitioners
- Improving learning and development programs, and constantly moving learning to the next level
· Actively working towards improving learner engagement and learning experience: monitoring and improvement
- Observing program delivery, collating feedback, and working on re-designing elements impacting participant experience, curriculum, content, facilitation experience, facilitation skills
- Using critical thinking skills to conduct data analysis, identifying trends, noting correlation and causal patterns, and recommending solutions
- Using a data-driven mindset throughout the solution development lifecycle to distill insights
- Confidently raising issues and risks, and managing-up to drive achievement of desired business outcomes
- Contributing to an inclusive, high-performing team culture
- Maintaining an active curiosity about the latest trends in the technology training landscape (including competitor actions regarding their own technology academies)
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 6 years of related professional experience
- Demonstrated project and program management experience: organization, managing and analyzing data, keeping multiple and simultaneous tasks/projects on track
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels and across teams
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking hybrid environment
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
o In Excel, aggregate data, conduct complex analysis, and display results visually
o In PowerPoint, translate data into insights and tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to your audience that conveys clear, actionable recommendations
o In Word, create clear, concise communications with a user-friendly layout conducive to cognition
Preferred:
- Experience working in a learning and development organization; especially in the space of instructional designing related to technology learning
- Experience in training program management, learning strategy and design (especially for technology-related programs), vendor management, project management, cross-border stakeholder management, financial management
- Prior experience in working in matrixed L&D of IT organizations
- Prior consulting or professional services experience
- Strong orientation towards and understanding of contemporary technology trends in general, and technology related training in particular
- Experience with data reporting and analytics, strong Excel skills
