Your key responsibilities
Much of your time will be spent supporting client engagement teams and working with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services in the life sciences domain.
Skills and attributes for success
- Deep knowledge in targeted disease areas including oncology, immunology, neurology and cell and gene therapies
- Strong commercial strategy skills with exposure to commercial analytics and market access
- Prior experience working in a strategy or boutique consulting company and managing a team of at least 3 reports
- Experience in running primary research interviews and quantitative surveys in the life science
- Experience with market access and knowledge of US market access dynamics including IRA, Medicare, Medicaid would be appreciated
- Effectively support client engagement teams
- Leading key workstreams as part of large-scale client engagements and consistently delivering high quality deliverables
- Helping Manager and Senior Managers manage risk and helping ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
- Staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business
- Helping foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment by playing an active role in counselling and mentoring staff consultants within the organization
- Starting to develop long-term client relationships and networks.
- Developing relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs
- Remaining current on new developments in the life sciences advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Biology, Pharmacology
- 3+ years biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience and experience providing advisory services in these industries, focused in at least one of the following areas:
- Commercial analytics
- Brand strategy
- Pricing and market access
- Commercial operations model transformation
- Digital campaign management strategy
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical datasets (e.g. pricing databases, prescription and claims databases, etc.)
- Experience with commercial operations and analytics
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- A willingness to travel to meet client needs
- Advisory/consulting experience within life sciences is preferred
